The Wildlife of Treasure Island

Treasure Island, Florida - Home of
"America's Best Sunsets"

Treasure Island, Florida is a mecca for wildlife. There is no need to drive to the Everglades to see Florida's most beautilful wildlife, you can see most of it right here in Treasure Island. The only exception being the lack of alligators, but TI makes up for it in the abundance of dolphin sightings.

On Treasure Island you see all types of bird species. Not only the local species, which is pictured below, but others that just happen to stop by on their migration north or south. On land, there are numerous lizard species and an occassional raccoon. In the water you are almost guaranteed to see dolphins, and if you are lucky you might spot a manatee.
